Description

孔雀椅The Peacock Chair是Hans Wegner早期的代表作之一，設計於1947年，當年他33歲，這張源自17世紀英國溫莎椅（Windsor chair）的設計，在許多細節上展現了Wegner設計和木工技術上的卓越能力，扶手支柱連接至椅面下的橫桿增加了椅背結構性，梳狀椅背於接觸背部部分變寬，讓乘坐的舒適性增加，椅腿與椅面的連接處加上楔片，加強接合的穩定性，椅下連桿以接榫處膨起的圓球讓木頭接合處強度增加，但又不顯得笨重。

這款孔雀椅在1947年哥本哈根匠師公會展展出時，設計師Finn Juhl第一眼看到就直以孔雀稱呼，所以這個名字就一直延續至今。

孔雀椅於1947年起由丹麥重要家具廠 Johannes Hansen生產製造，90年代初期 Johannes Hansen結束營業，之後由PP Møbler生產至今。
