ML42凳子由Mogens Lassen於1942年為丹麥裝飾藝術博物館的家具展設計，其靈感源自製鞋匠使用的傳統木凳。這款凳子以其三隻錐形木腿和雕刻成形的實木凳面為特徵，結合了傳統工藝與現代人體工學設計。凳面的弧度巧妙契合了乘坐者的臀部曲線，前側中央的突起提供了固定和穩定性，使坐感更加舒適。高腳版本的ML42還配有由不銹鋼製成的腳踏，使得這款凳子在實用性與美學之間達到了平衡。
