Description

Mogensen的設計受到其導師Karre Klint影響甚深，我們可以看到他的一些作品可說是Klint作品的精簡或精進版。在丹麥設計博物館中有一組女士用的棋牌桌椅，是此件的前身。椅腿、椅背與扶手的關係使這張椅子看來像是一個菱形的結構，也方便四張椅子向桌子收合，不占空間。從椅背輪幅狀的支狀結構看來，雖說這也是某種程度的溫莎椅變體，但因為左右兩椅腿頂端與椅腦連結，避免了溫莎椅結構較弱的通病。
根據椅子底部的銅牌註記，此件是Søborg Møbelfabrik 特別為丹麥設計百貨公司Illum Bolighus生產的100件中的第15號。
