Description

Jens H. Quistgaard為Dansk Designs的Designs with light設計了一系列的燭台，並為它們開發了多色彩的細長蠟燭，Dansk將丹麥文化中燭火的溫暖與浪漫帶到美國。

這件丹麥人稱為Tiny Taper (Spider)/Model 1424的鑄鐵燭台，最初由丹麥Langes Jernstøberi以鑄鐵廠製作，1990-1996年移至日本生產，之後也曾至台灣生產。

Tiny Taper是Quistgaard眾多燭台設計中最受大家喜愛的一件，可以搭配12隻細長的蠟燭以小的角度向外放射，形成桌上優美的裝飾，燭台底部用光滑的黑色搪瓷包覆，避免粗糙的鑄鐵面刮傷桌面。這件作品影響了許多燭台的設計，也被美國大都會博物館The Metropolitan Museum of Art收藏。

燭台底部有Dansk Designs Denmark JHQ的字樣。
