Description

Rud Thygesen (1932-2019)與 Johnny Sørensen(1944- )在1966年畢業於丹麥工藝美術設計學院，兩位家具設計師畢業後就一起成立了設計工作室，他們與多家家具廠合作，包含從學生時期開始合作的Magnus Olesen，到之後合作的Erik Boisen、PP Linie、Botium、Niels Smidt、Gry Holmskov and Robert Ludwig 和 Skippers Furniture，他們設計的一系列以積層模壓膠合板製作的家具，在製作技術和工藝美學和功能上都有很好的表現，在辦公和居家家具市場受到歡迎，也延續丹麥 50 年代和 60 年代的設計的黃金時期，他們二位的長達30年的合作，直到1995年才分開各自成立工作室。

EB系列是兩位設計師為成立於1977年的家具商Erik Boisen設計的EB辦公系列，自1978年推出的EB工作站之後，該系列有書櫃、層架和屏風陸續推出，以彎曲的線條形成的凹凸的空間，讓辦公空間更活潑彈性，弧形的設計讓生產的成本增加，但獨特現代又靈活的設計仍獲得客戶的支持，是1980年代非常新穎的家具系列。
