Bubi在1972年由Louis Poulsen生產，原始的燈罩是用黃銅製作，但在1980年就因為過熱的問題而停產了。
而Pandul在2010年改良設計推出了新版本，將原本的黃銅改為鍍鉻金屬，而燈泡的部分也改成不易發燙的省電燈泡，改善了原本過熱的問題。
